The Road Leads Home
 
Don’t believe it when they say you can’t go home again. Just ask the McGahas. Bill was born in Franklin, North Carolina, but moved around frequently through the years due to his military career. However, something about this jewel of a town, nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina, kept calling him back. In 1996, he and his wife Stephanie returned to Franklin. They’ve been home ever since.
Teamwork
Bill & Stephanie make a great team. Bill is a 'Type A' personality - focused, dedicated, organized, motivated. Twenty-three years as an Army Officer and over ten years as an education administrator are the likely explanation. Stephanie is a former public and private school teacher with a Home Economics background who has proudly dedicated much of her life to managing the details of their home and family. They are the proud parents of two grown sons, Jeremy and Andy, a wonderful daughter-in-law, Amanda, and one adorable granddaughter, Avery Lynn.
This motivated couple is very involved in their community and their church. A sports enthusiast, Bill enjoys both watching and playing. He also likes to spend his spare time reading and traveling. Bill believes in using his gifts in both service and work environments.

Stephanie’s love for the beauty and well-being of the community shows in her involvement with the Nature Conservancy and The Little Tennessee Watershed Association as well as the Friends of the Greenway (FROGS).
Experience
 
Careers in both the military and as an educator have enabled Bill to have a unique approach to the real estate business. Moving often, as military families do, the McGahas had a great deal of interaction with Realtors, and therefore insight into what works and what doesn't from both the buyer's and seller's point of view.

Bill’s extensive education and field experience make him a valuable asset to his clients.

A deep dedication to family, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to integrity are what have always motivated Bill and Stephanie. That dedication is also apparent in their approach to
